First Serbian SHINBUDO competition
December 2005 
On December 3rd 2005 the very first combined Sport kenjutsu & Sport jujutsu National Championship was held in Serbia. This event was organized by Serbian Budo Council. There were almost 80 competitors. This was the fost ever Jujutsu Mix Kumite tournament.

Vrsac, Serbia 2006

On 25th of February 2006, under organization of  Serbian Budo Council,
the first international mixed Sport Jujutsu/Sport kenjutsu event took place in the Millennium Hall, in town of Vrsac.
There were 14 clubs from Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with total of 150 competitors.

The first International Shinbudo Games
Memorial tournament of Slobodan Saric
Požarevac, Serbia, February 2007

 


SHINBUKAN school, headed by Shinbudo founder Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic,
hosted this international tournament organized in memory of late Slobodan Saric sensei, Shinbukan member and instructor. 
Memorial gathered over 150 participants from five countries: Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy and Sweden.
Competitors participated in goshin jutsu competition (demonstration of self-defense),
japanese fencing (sport kenjutsu) and jujutsu fights uner Mix Kumite rules.

Second International Shinbudo Games
Pozarevac - SERBIA, February 2008

 

On February 23rd second Memorial tournament in honor of late Slobodan Saric was held in Pozarevac, Serbia.
Beside 150 competitors from Serbia, this tournament was attended by guests from
Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy, Sweden and Germany.
Total of 7 countries with near 210 competitors.
This was one of the strongest tournaments ever held in South-East Europe,
with 10-15 contestants in some categories, and even 40 men from 6 countries in one single Sport kenjutsu division.
Tournament was hosted by Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic, founder of International Shinbudo Association.

3rd International Shinbudo Games

 

Serbia, February 2009

 

On Saturday 21st of February 2009 the 3rd International Shinbudo Games were held in Pozarevac, Serbia. Host of the Games was Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic, founder of International Shinbudo Association. These Games were also memorial tournament in honor of late Slobodan Saric sensei from Pozarevac.

Despite terrible weather conditions, Games were attended by representatives of 10 countires: Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Russia, United Kingdom, Italy, Ghana, Romania, Czech Republic and Germany. Members from 8 clubs from Serbia participated: Pozarevac, Sabac, Petrovac, Vlaski Do, Smederevo, Belgrade, Vrsac, Aleksinac. There were 114 competitors from abroad and 119 competitors from Serbia, a total of 233 people competing in three SHINBUDO disciplines - Mix Kumite, Jujutsu Kata and Sport Kenjutsu.

Competition is partially sponsored by Pozeravac city and Municipal governemnt of Petrovac na Mlavi. Organizer specially thanks to all leaders of foreign national teams: Mr. Allan Clarkin sensei from United Kingdom, Mr. Tselestin Tsykhtsinskiy from Russia, Mr. Jens Kruse from Germany, Mr. Osborne Tukpeh from Ghana, Mr. Bojan Radovanovic and Andrea Bertolini from Italy, Mr. Radim Ballner from Czech Republic, Mr. Stojan Lukic, Mr. Zeljo Stjepanovic and Mr. Bosko Vidovic from Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Mr. Hrvoje Znaor from Croatia.

All participating national teams won medals. All domestic and international guests were pleased with the organization and had announced participation on next ISA Games, which will be held in April 2010 in Serbia.

U subotu 21. febriara 2009. godine u Pozarevcu su odrzane 3. Internacionalne Shinbudo Igre. Domacin Igara bio je Dr med. Ivica Zdravkovic, osnivac Internacionalne Shinbudo Asocijacije. Ove Igre su takodje bile i memorijalni turnir u cast pokojnog Slobodana Sarica, majstora jujutsu vestine iz Pozarevca.

Uprkos jako losem vremenu, Igrama su prisustvovali predstavnici 10 zemalja, iz Srbije, Bosne i Hercegovine, Hrvatske, Rusije, Velike Britanije, Italije, Gane, Rumunije, Ceske i Nemacke. Ucestvovali su takmicari iz 8 mesta u Srbiji: iz Pozarevca, Sapca, Petrovca, Vlaskog Dola, Smedereva, Beograda, Vrsca i Aleksinca. Ukupno je bilo 114 takmicara iz inostranstva i 119 takmicara iz Srbije - imponzantan broj od 233 takmicara koji su se nadmetali u tri SHINBUDO discipline - Mix Kumite, Jujutsu Kata i Sport Kenjutsu.

Takmicenje je delimicno sponzorisao grad Pozarevac, kao i opstina Petrovac na Mlavi. Glavni sponzor bio je Budo Savet Srbije sa pozarevackim klubom SHINBUKAN-om. ("Dziu-dzicu klub Pozarevac"). Organizator posebno zahvaljuje vodjama stranih nacionalnih timova, gospodi Alanu Klarkinu iz Velike Britanije, Celestinu Cikcinskom iz Rusije, Osbornu Tukpehu iz Gane, Jensu Kruseu iz Nemacke, Bojanu Radovanovicu i Andrei Bertoliniju iz Italije, Stojanu Lukicu, Zeljku Stjepanovicu i Bosku Vidovicu iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Radimu Balneru iz Ceske i Hrvoju Znaoru iz Hrvatske.

Svi nacionalni timovi osvojili su bar po neku medalju. I strani i domaci gosti bili su zadovoljni organizacijom i najavili su ponovno ucesce na sledecim ISA Igrama, koje ce biti odrzane u Srbiji aprila 2010. godine.
